With Glam Observer and especially with the Glam Observer Membership, my aim is to support all of you who want to start a successful career in fashion.
The fashion industry is closed from the outside and there are very few people willing to share the secrets learned to enter the sector, considering the huge effort they have made to get where they are now.
With Glam Observer, the members have access to an archive of articles with specific career advice on the fashion industry, tools such as CV templates, consultations, exclusive webinars, resume review, access to the WhatsApp and Facebook group to network and get exclusive resources shared in the groups, and now I am happy to announce a new service for members: mentorship sessions with industry professionals who have been working in this field for years and who, with their experience, can provide valuable career advice to the members and reveal the tricks to enter the fashion industry and build a successful career.
The Glam Observer community is international, and for this reason, I decided to start with these mentorship sessions online, to not exclude anyone, as if they are live webinars in which me, Giada GO founder and CEO, will be in the company of a fashion professional that I personally choose for their brilliant professional career, to talk about what it means to work in fashion, share valuable advice and answer all the members’ questions Live that they can submit via the LIVE CHAT.
For this first online mentorship session I am happy that Kristina Rodulfo has accepted my proposal.
Kristina Rodulfo studied journalism in New York and since September is the Beauty Director of Women’s Health magazine, part of the Hearst group. Kristina started her career as a Freelance Fashion Writer at InStyle, then became Associate Editor at Elle, where she stayed for 2 years, was a beauty editor at Pop Sugar for 6 months and then returned to Elle as Senior Beauty Editor where she remained for 2 years until September.
The session is going to start with a quick interview to Kristina on how she started her career and then we will proceed with the Q&A Session with the members, all LIVE. You’ll be able to see me and Kristina via Video 😉
She is brilliant and on Instagram, Kristina shares all the emails and applications she had to send to enter the sector. It teaches that being persistent, proactive and believing in yourself leads to great results.
This great mentorship session will be held on October 3rd at 7:30 am CEST (1:30 pm EST).
