If you want to have a look at behind the scenes of fashion houses, fashion documentaries are a must. In 60-100 minutes you can learn so many things and understand how the fashion industry works. My favorite so far is The September Issue, and here you can find a list of our favorite fashion documentaries. I watched some interesting fashion documentaries online and on Netflix that has a quite nice selection. Now Netflix is bringing us a new docuseries called “7 Days Out.” The film was directed by Andrew Rossi — who helmed “The First Monday in May,” the documentary about the Met Gala’s most-attended exhibit in history, “China Through the Looking Glass.”
Each self-contained episode of the “7 Days” series centers around one week in the life of a visionary and his or her team working in the realms of fashion, food, space, sports and entertainment. The inaugural episode concerns the house of Chanel.
“Seven Days Out” documents the final preparations Karl Lagerfeld made before the brand’s spring 2018 haute couture show.
Add this documentary to your Christmas to do list. The film will be available to watch on Netflix from December 21st 😉
