There are many pieces of the puzzle that make a successful fashion brand. You might associate the fashion industry with creativity, beautiful clothes, fashion shows, and magazines. And yes, it’s a creative industry, but there are also many things that are decided on numbers.

Any decision that you might believe is only based on the imagination and creativity of the designer, the stylist, the editor…it’s not like that. In fact, fashion professionals analyze a lot of numbers. They plan and analyze data, previous sales, campaigns, competitors, etc. that make up all of their creative decisions. And with so much data to manage, Excel can be an incredibly powerful tool for anyone working in fashion.
