In March (the month of the International Women’s Day) , Dior invited female students to tour the maison’s atelier and head office to launch a mentorship programme: ‘Women@Dior’ . This programme is aimed to empower young women to achieve their career ambitions by pairing them with Christian Dior employees, who will provide face-to-face careers advice and guidance once every three months.
In Europe only the 3% of listed companies are headed by a woman so it’s really inspiring to see that a big company like Dior cares about this theme. They are encouraging female to follow their dreams and to be strong ( it’s not a coincidence the famous t-shirt We should all be feminists).
Empowering women and supporting them is really important and letting them experience and understand how a company like Dior works it’s really an impressive action. Dior really has made a good step for the social with this programme and I really love and share it 100%.
This is the proof that even if you have not studied fashion or ever taken a fashion courses you can still work for a famous fashion/luxury company like Dior.
Go girls!
