I still remember the day I finally realized I wanted to work in fashion. I was excited by the idea but a second later a little worried. None of my family or friends worked in the fashion industry, so I did not know anyone to ask for information and who could help and guide me to understand how the fashion industry works from within and what are the different career options.

I started doing research online because I really wanted to understand how to be part of the fashion industry. Unfortunately, the information was very few, so to understand more, I thought that my only choice was to attend a fashion school.

Now that I’m in the fashion industry, I know that it’s not really the only way. After my experience, I started Glam Observer with the aim of informing, inspiring and guiding all the girls who want to start a career in fashion but do not know where to start from. Attending a fashion school is important, but you must be able to choose to attend it because you are interested in the course, not for general information about the industry. Time is an important resource and wasting it is really a pity.

I started publishing on this website all the information I have acquired during these years and that I continue to acquire on a daily basis, especially talking to people who work in the fashion industry. I think the interviews are one of the greatest resources we have here on Glam Observer because they are a guide to achieving that same career goal.

Thinking of what I wanted at the beginning of my career in fashion, I would have liked a friend, a person with experience in fashion, to advice me about the right career path for me. Someone who, considering my experiences, skills and passions, would have been able to advise me on what school to attend, what are the different careers in fashion and what could be suitable for me and, in general would have answered all my questions and doubts about the fashion industry before attending a fashion school, also to understand if attending it could be the right choice.

This is where the idea of introducing the fashion career consulting and coaching services came from: making available to all of you that friend who tells you how the fashion industry works, everything about working in fashion and who guides you to get the best out of yourself.

I will be the one to search among all the online sites and also among our network the jobs, and you can quickly evaluate all the offers from an email and apply for the one you prefer.
