We always read and hear that networking is one of the most important things for the career. Especially in fashion, meeting the right person could mean to find your next job or finding someone who will help you to launch your own business. Just only listening to the stories of others can boost your knowledge and let you understand things that you were not aware of. Creating a connection is really important if you want to work in the fashion industry and what is a better place then the conferences?

I’ve listed below the coolest 2017/2018 fashion conferences and summits that you must attend if you want to create connections and meet in person some of the most influential people of this glossy industry. 

Just listening to them speaking will really blow your mind. Some of them are quite expensive, the Vogue conference costs 3000€ to attend but there will be Anna Wintour, Marc Jacobs and Rihanna speaking!! Consider it as one of the best and valuable investment for your career.

Simply Conference February 10 2018 New York

SIMPLY NYC is a place to learn, network and get inspired!  If you’re aspiring to be a blogger, stylist, entrepreneur, fashion designer, editor or just want to network and grow your business this conference is made for you. The speakers are all amazing! Just to name a few Bethany Mota the youtube star, Vanessa Hudgens, the influencer Wendy Nguyen, Nicola Deam the editorial director of The Zoe report and many many other interesting and inspiring people.

Vogue Forces of Fashion October 12 New York (3000$)

It’s an informative dialogue between some of today’s most talented designers‍‍‍‍‍‍ and the editors of Vogue. Anna Wintour, Marc Jacobs, John Galliano, Victoria Beckham, Stella McCartney and Rihanna will be speaking! 

WWD CEO Summit October 24-25, New York (invites only)

You have to request an invite so paying won’t let you go there but it’s useful to know that there will be this huge conference with some of the biggest names in the fashion industry like Karl Lagerfeld, Marco Bizzarri from Gucci, Tommi Hilfiger, and Kris Jenner and Rihanna.  This Summit will be a meeting point for some of the sharpest minds in the business who will address fickle consumer tastes, a complex socio-economic backdrop and how the digital juggernaut is disrupting retail and compelling brands and stores alike to innovate like never before.
