Apart from podcasts, another way we enjoy consuming content at Glam Observer is through newsletters. Rather than going on each site to look for what we want to read, we let the content come to us. We know some of you would argue newsletters are spammy but for the busy bees we are, it is the best option to stay informed about the industry and find ideas for new content to share with you. So, without further ado here are some of our favourite newsletters.
- Â Â Â BoF
This list had to start with the Business of Fashion newsletter. Over the years, the site has become a real authority within the fashion industry and the articles written are always food for thought. We love receiving their newsletter for the in-depth analysis of the industry along with some news and job postings to keep us on track about the type of profiles people are looking for now when hiring.
- Â Â Â Glossy
Glossy is another excellent source of information for us. And it is free! There is no need to get a membership to peruse their content. Though not an image-heavy newsletter, the titles are enough to take the bait and make you click. ‘Luxury meets tech – straight to your inbox’ is their catchphrase to invite you to subscribe to their newsletter. Interviews, fashion analysis and job listing, though the formula seems like BoF, Glossy rewards their most engaged subscribers by sending them a weekly newsletter written by their editor-in-chief, Jill Manoff. Contrarily to their daily newsletter, this one offers you access to exclusive content such as information on their forum and their insider Q&A.Â
- Â Â Â The Newsette
The Newsette is one of our favourite newsletter at Glam Observer! A mix of pop culture and fashion news, what we love the most about it are the interviews accompanying it. Career Q&A, Morning Routine, Pillow Talks these are the many ways The Newsette introduces female leaders to their subscribers, and we love it! And if you are short of people to follow on Instagram, they give some hints with beautiful imagery taken from their favourite Instagram accounts.
4. Fashionista
Fashionista is our favorite place for updates about the fashion industry. That’s why if you want to stay updated about the fashion industry, this newsletter is definitely a must.
