  • Karl Lagerfeld Taps Carine Roitfeld for His Brand. The partnership is to kick off in September with The Edit by Carine Roitfeld, her selection of “essential pieces” from the designer’s fall 2019 collection.
  • Justin Bieber launched his clothing line Drew. All of the pieces are “ethically made in limited quantities in Los Angeles, USA,” and range in price from $48 for a T-shirt to $148 for a pair of pants. 
  • LVMH the luxury conglomerate of which Dior, Celine, Sephora, Louis Vuitton, Fendi and many other brands are part of, announced its 2018 results on Tuesday, including a record net profit growth of 18 percent. Recorded revenue reached €46.8 billion in 2018, an increase of 10 percent over the previous year.
