It is no new now that podcasts are another form of content that is getting more and more popular. Far from being a trend it is becoming a fixture within the digital space. No wonder then, we, at Glam Observer created our own to share our opinion with you and introduce you to fascinating people. But the idea didn’t pop up like this. To start a podcast, you need to love them hence why we compiled a list of our favourite Fashion Podcasts
- Â Â Â Â Â Â VOGUE PODCAST
This list had to start with this podcast. I discovered the Vogue Podcast only a couple of months ago and was surprised I didn’t hear much about it. Hosted by fashion journalist André Leon Talley, this podcast is the occasion to hear all the biggest fashion personalities we only see in magazines. I should mention it is Vogue America podcast. With guests like Alessandro Michele, Kim Kardashian or Tom Ford – even the mysterious Anna Wintour plays the interviewee – the Vogue Podcast feels like taking part in witty conversations with the most prominent figures of the fashion industry.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â THE BUSINESS OF FASHION PODCAST
This is the podcast for those reluctant to pay BoF membership to have access to the site’s content. After all, most of the episodes are simply spin-offs of BoF video content and Voices – BoF conference. If you don’t have time to watch Imran Ahmed uncovering what is the American Dream with Tommy Hilfiger or you missed Voices because you couldn’t afford a ticket to London, this podcast will give a glimpse of all of this on top of some educational content to help you write your business plan and build your fashion business. Lastly, you will hear eye-opening conversations with people of the likes of model and actress Amber Valletta, multihyphenate creative Hari Nef or Farfetch’s founder Jose Neves.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â THE GLOSSY PODCAST
This podcast is a real goldmine for understanding the impact of technology on fashion and luxury. From interviewing Teen Vogue digital editorial director Phillip Picardi to discussing Glossier’s vision with director of marketing Ali Weiss – this weekly podcast is for everyone wanting to start a fashion business online. Through the many interviews of these professionals, you can glean essential piece of information to help you with finding what to do with your venture, so always don’t hesitate to listen again some episodes armed with a pen and a notebook.
- Â Â Â 4 pm at FASHIONISTA
Fashionista is the perfect website if you want to stay updated on what’s happening in the Fashion Industry. That’s why – of course – we love their podcast which is a conversation of the editors about what’s happening in the Fashion Industry.
-     PARDON MY FRENCH by GARANCE DORÈÂ
Garance Dorè, the famous founder of Atelier Dorè is the host of her podcast which episodes are really interesting conversations with inspiring people. Just to name a few, she had a conversation with Joseph Atuzzarra and also with Mr Louboutin in one of her latest episodes. Her French accent is also really cute, we definitely love her!
We have just launched our Podcast too. Giada, the founder, and Emmanuelle, Content Editor, have great conversations together about what’s happening in the fashion industry and also we talk with some amazing people who have launched their own Fashion, Beauty or Accessory brand to understand what’s like to be a fashion entrepreneur. We will also interview people who work in fashion and influencers!
