Project/ Assignment:
You will produce your own fashion show concept.

Week 2 – Analyze a Show Like a Fashion Insider (class value 247€)

Decoding the Catwalk: Trend Analysis & Moodboard Creation Workshop (class value 197€)

Duration 90 minutes.

You’ll understand:
- The difference between trends, fads, and blips
- Macro, micro, and mega trends
- The fashion trend life cycle
- What really influences trends: culture, politics, technology, society
- How different fashion roles use trends: editors, stylists, buyers, designers, trend forecasters
- How to analyze trends as a professional and build a structured trend moodboard.
Project/ Assignment:
You’ll create a professional trend moodboard ready to include in your portfolio.
How Much Time Do I Need?
We begin on Friday, February 20th.
Each masterclass is held live on Zoom and lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
You’ll then need around 2 additional hours per week to complete the practical assignment.
In total, you should plan for approximately:
4 hours per week.

What if I don't have the time to watch the sessions live?
The Fashion Week Career Lab is flexible, with online, recorded sessions, allowing participants to learn at their own pace and rewatch sessions if needed. You'll have lifetime access to each masterclass to rewatch whenever you prefer. When you enroll, you'll get access to the entire course forever, becoming a permanent course you can watch at your own pace.
Do I need previous fashion knowledge to apply?
No, the Fashion Week Career lab doesn't require any previous fashion knowledge to apply. You can enroll even if you have never studied fashion. The knowledge you'll acquire through the Lab will fill the gap providing you with the industry knowledge recruiters are looking for in candidates.
What's the enrollment deadline?
Enrollment for the Fashion Week Career Lab is closing on Feb 17th but we might close sooner if we reach capacity.
Can I enroll now before it closes but watch later?
Yes! The Fashion Week Career Lab is made of live masterclass to give you the chance to talk directly with the industry professionals but all the classes will be recorded and they will be available in your online school library forever, so you can then watch at your own pace.
For what careers will the Lab prepare me for?
The topics of the masterclasses included in the Lab are foundational knowledge that anyone who aspires to work in fashion should learn, however, it fits perfectly if:
