Where to find the style Inspiration

If you are following this blog you have surely noticed that there have been some changes . I’ve started to share with you my personal outfits  and this blog is becoming much more a personal style blog ( I’m enjoying a lot to create outfit and beauty posts 🙂 )  . My style is something that has evolved over many years , each year seems different and when I look at old photos I always think that even if I didn’t dress like I do now, I still had my own take on fashion styles and what I thought suited me  . Each year with the new season we want to update our wardrobe and we need some inspirations to do that . I wanted this post to be a reminder, for me and for you, of where to go to get inspired and to find the best style inspiration for outfits .

1.

PINTEREST

When I’m not inspired at all I always log in into Pinterest and I navigate for hours among all the beautiful photos . I love Pinterest because it’s a place where you can find all the kind of images that you want: different outfit ideas from different people (fashion bloggers, fashion icons, editors, street style stars)  with different styles, home decor inspirations, editorial content and lots of style and beauty advices. I always save my favorite photos that I’ll use later to create a mood board from which take inspiration for the next outfits and the following blog posts .

2.

FASHION BLOGGERS

I do truly love to read new blog posts to see how do the other fashion bloggers create their own outfits . I enjoy everyday to read my favorite blogs but I also love to find new blogs that have a style which is similar to mine. To find new blogs I usually check out Bloglovin and search through the fashion categories . I take snippets of ideas, of some pieces that I really like and then I go on my own online retail hunt for maybe something similar to a piece I have seen. I want to make each piece my own .

3.

FASHION WEEKS

Fashion weeks are always a really great periods of the year to find style inspiration . I feel inspired by the catwalks, by the street style looks and by what fashion icons wear during fashion shows and events . During fashion week we usually see the most eccentric outfits and I always like one or 2 pieces from an entire outfit that I’d like to wear with more casual pieces to create outfits that I feel comfortable in .

4.

ONLINE RETAILERS

I spent hours navigating among my favorite online retailers (you can find my favorite online stores in this post) and this is the part in which I do usually shop my favorite pieces that I saw on blogs, magazines, Pinterest or most of the time I try to pick up items that I have not seen everywhere else that I adore .  I love online stores because you can see how a piece is styled in an entire outfit .

5.

INSTAGRAM

I follow my favorite bloggers and some fashion accounts on Instagram that share their outfits even before that they are published on the blog . I always want to find new accounts to follow checking out the suggested users . Now with LikeToKnowIt shopping straight from an Instagram image could not be more simple. You can pick up the latest styles just by liking a photo and having the product links sent straight to your phone. See my shoppable feed below

6.

FASHION MAGAZINES

I love editorial content .  Vogue, Elle,  Harpers Bazaar , Marie Claire and Glamour are some of my favorite fashion mags to find style inspiration from . I collect fashion mags issues and I rip my favourite fashion shoots out of the magazine for my mood board. When I want to be inspired I buy myself a few magazines and I submerge myself in the newest trends . I usually also check out their website for instant inspiration .

Where do you prefer to find your Style inspiration? What is your favourite magazine, or who are your favourite fashion bloggers? I’d love your recommendations too!

Off the shoulder shirt

There are some trends that are coming back from the past and one of this is the off-the-shoulder-top…

  1. Ciao Giada!

  3. I’m inspired by all of these, but especially magazines. There’s something about having a print magazine in your hands and flicking through the pages that is inspiring in of itself. And then of course there’s the incredible photoshoots inside!
