About Glam Observer

Glam Observer is the pioneering fashion career advice platform founded in 2014 by Giada Graziano. Giada had the idea of Glam Observer when she was doing her research about working in the fashion industry. She graduated in management engineering and was not living in a fashion capital. She couldn’t find any resource that helped her understand how to enter and navigate the fashion industry, that’s how Glam Observer was born. It initially started as a blog where Giada was sharing what she was learning from her own experience when she moved to Milan to do a master’s in luxury and fashion management and her internship at Alexander McQueen, YNAP, and Kering. Giada started sharing the unconventional strategies she used to catch the attention of fashion recruiters despite having no connections, no experience, and a degree in management engineering. Many were getting hope and confidence and successful results as well by replicating the same strategies she used to break into fashion. In 2017 she quit her job in the fashion industry to focus on helping fashion enthusiasts land their dream roles in fashion. In 2018 she founded the Glam Observer Fashion Academy launching the course break into the fashion industry. Now The Glam Observer Fashion Academy counts more than 1,700 international students and 4 online courses including Excel for fashion the first and only excel course tailored to the fashion industry. In 2020 Giada entered the Forbes Under 30 list in the Education category as the first ever fashion career advisor to enter the prestigious list.

Glam Observer’s mission is to inspire and motivate people by making the fashion industry accessible to anyone without stress and with confidence.
