New York Day 1

Buongiorno 🙂 Come promesso ecco il post sui miei giorni trascorsi a New York!

Il primo giorno è stato un po’ quello di perlustrazione generale intorno alle zone più famose.

La giornata è iniziata presto , infatti alle 5:30 eravamo tutti in piedi a causa del jet lag 😀

Colazione da Starbucks e giro veloce a Times Square di giorno !

Dopo ci siamo incamminati lungo la 6th Ave e ad un certo punto siamo sbucati davanti al maestoso albero del Rockefeller Center ! è luminoso proprio come si vede in televisione (aspettate di vedere le foto di notte!) però me lo aspettavo più alto 😀 ma questo credo sia dovuto al fatto che alle sue spalle c’è il palazzo del Top of the Rock alto 259 m  che sminuisce l’altezza dell’albero 😀

Sotto l’albero è posizionata la famosa e super affollata pista di pattinaggio.

Le code sono interminabili un po’ ovunque a New York durante il periodo natalizio, questa è l’unica che non ho fatto perché non avendo mai pattinato sul ghiaccio temevo una caduta e non avrei voluto rovinare la vacanza per niente al mondo 😀 magari la prossima volta 😀

Proseguendo sul viale decorato da angeli si arriva sulla 5th Avenue precisamente difronte a Saks 5th Avenue .

Da Saks abbiamo potuto ammirare le sue famosissime vetrine che durante il periodo natalizio sono fra le più belle!

Vetrine davvero incredibili! In ogni vetrina c’era rappresentata una diversa favola, Cenerentola, Cappuccetto Rosso, tutte in versione completamente diversa da l solito! Sono davvero spettacolari ( infatti anche per guardare le vetrine da fuori bisogna fare un’apposita fila 😀 )

Dopo aver fatto un giro veloce al primo piano da Saks ci siamo diretti al Top Of the Rock! Fortunatamente quel giorno non c’era alcuna fila 😀 perciò in 2 minuti ci siamo ritrovati ad ammirare una delle viste più incredibili di New York! Il Top of the Rock infatti permette di ammirare New York dall’alto!

Un’esperienza incredibile! New York è esattamente come si vede dalle foto! Ho scattato una foto che è praticamente identica ad uno sfondo che avevo sul mio pc scaricato da internet 😀 

Purtroppo il tempo non era fra i migliori ma per fortuna quando siamo saliti qualche giorno dopo sull’Empire State Building abbiamo potuto ammirare il panorama con il sole di giorno ed anche la notte ( aspettate di vedere le foto di quel giorno! Sono splendide!!)

New York è davvero incredibile, sembra un sogno !

Dopo una passeggiata lungo la 5th Avenue ci siamo diretti da Burger Heaven per il pranzo! é stato il mio primo pasto newyorkese ovviamente a base di hamburger e patatine 😀 Davvero buono, se andate a New York ve lo consiglio!

Il pomeriggio e la sera sono proseguiti con una visita alla Grand Central Station , cena nel nostro appartamento e giro a Times Square prima di andare a dormire! Purtroppo i primi giorni si è sentita la differenza di ore rispetto all’Italia infatti alle 10 di sera eravamo già tutti crollati perché in Italia erano le 4 di notte 😀 Dopo 3 giorni per fortuna ci siamo completamente adattati all’orario di New York perciò sveglia alle 8e30 e la sera si riusciva a stare fino a mezzanotte  🙂

Questo è stato il mio primo giorno intero a New York 🙂

Good morning 🙂 As promised here is the post about my days in New York!

The first day was around some of the  most famous areas.

The day started early, in fact, at 5:30 we were all standing because of jet lag 😀

Breakfast at Starbucks and fast to see Times Square during the day!

After we walked along 6th Ave and at one point we turned up in front of the majestic tree in Rockefeller Center! It is bright just like you see on television (wait until you’ll see the photos at night!) but I expected it higher  😀 I think this is due to the fact that behind it there is the palace of the Top of the Rock which is 259 m tall  that diminishes the height of the tree 😀

Under the tree is located the famous and super crowded ice skating rink.

Queues are endless everywhere in New York during the Christmas season, this is the only one time  that I didn’t wait because I have never skating on the ice and  I was afraid to  fall! I did not want to ruin the holiday for anything 😀 maybe the next time 😀

Continuing the avenue decorated with angels we arrived on 5th Avenue, precisely  in front of Saks 5th Avenue where we could admire its famous windows that during the Christmas season are among the most beautiful!

Shop windows are truly amazing! In every window was represented a different tale, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, all in completely different version from the usual! These Are truly spectacular (in fact even to see windows shop from outside we need to do a separate line :D)

After doing a quick tour on the first floor of Saks we headed to the Top Of the Rock! Fortunately that day there was no line 😀 so in two minutes we were stood admiring one of the most incredible views of New York! From The Top of the Rock in fact you can admire the overhead view of New York!

An incredible experience! New York is exactly as you see from the photos! I took a picture that is practically identical to a background that I had on my pc downloaded from the internet 😀

Unfortunately the weather was not among the best but luckily when we went up a few days later to the Empire State Building we could admire the view with the sun during the day and even at night (expect to see photos of that day! They are beautiful !! )

New York is really amazing, it looks like a dream!

After a walk along 5th Avenue we headed to Burger Heaven for lunch! It was my first meal and of course it was New York-based : burger and fries 😀 Really good, if you go to New York I recommend it!

The afternoon and evening continued with a visit to the Grand Central Station, dinner in our apartment and a walk around Times Square before going to sleep! Unfortunately, the first few days we felt the jet leg  in fact at 10 pm we were all sleeping because in Italy were the 4 am 😀 After 3 days thankfully we completely adapted to  New York so alarm at 8e30 am and in the evening we could stay until midnight 🙂

This was my first full day in New York 🙂
