We’re moving to Milan – why and my story

Good morning guys! If you follow me on Instagram @glamobserver you have surely seen my latest posts in which I told you that we are moving to Milan! Yes, last week from Wednesday to Saturday we went to Milan to bring some of our stuff and to clean our new flat . Today I want to tell you why we’re moving to Milan, so I hope that you’ll enjoy this personal post 🙂

A week after my graduation in July I started thinking about what I wanted to do in the future for my career and since fashion it has always been my passion and also for my degree in management engineering I realized that I wanted to became a manager of a fashion or beauty company so I started my online research for the best courses about this.

The adventure started in November when I went to Milan to do an admission test to a master in Luxury and Fashion Management at Il Sole 24 Ore Business School  . After two weeks I received a call back and they told me that I passed all the exams and that I was admitted to the course. I was really happy to ear this and excited to start this new adventure 🙂 . The course is a Full Time Master (from 9 am to 5:30 pm  everyday) and it’s about what I do truly like : marketing, communication and events, brand Management, retail Merchandising,Visual Merchandising,Retail Operations, E-commerce and much more . The Master is going to start on May,16th and it’s going to last one year (6 months of class lessons and the rest months I’ll do an internship) . The upcoming months (starting from next Monday) are going to be really busy for me and I’ll have to be well organized to manage the blog and to study at the same time 🙂

Luckily also Ivan is coming with me to Milan to work 🙂 I’m so so happy to start this new adventure together , we’re going to live together for the first time in our flat and I’m really excited to share with him this important step 🙂

Do you remember last month when I published a vlog about 24 hours in Milan ? Yes, that time we went to Milan to see some flats and we finally found the right one for us which is 10 minutes away from where I have to study . This photo of us is from that 24 hours 🙂

We’re moving definitely  to Milan this Sunday after Ivan’s graduation this Friday (all exciting days in a row 😀 ) and I’m going to start the lessons on Monday . I’m excited and scared about this at the same time . Excited to start this new adventure and to study something that I’m passionated about and I’m really happy to being able to share it with Ivan and scared because I’m going to start something completely new in a city where we don’t know anyone and where our families and friends are 1200km far away . So I really hope that everything is going to be fine 🙂
