In the role as an Assistant Buyer, you’ll be the right hand of the buyer and will be supporting them by providing analysis and making recommendation for buying and trading decisions. Depending on your background and performance, you can have buying responsibility for your first brand(s) on your own!
YOU ARE SETTING STANDARDS
Innovative. You’ll prepare product-based analysis for trading decisions and you’ll make proposals for the assortment selection as well as line plans of your unit. Furthermore, you’ll provide input and you will gradually join order appointments and negotiation meetings independently.
Support. You’ll support our buyers in operational and functional matters. You’ll create/cancel orders and you’ll make sure all necessary steps are followed through.
Communicator and team player. You will be the first contact person for our international suppliers, next to our buyers, and you will set up and maintain condition contracts with them. You’ll also work closely with our planning team in order to ensure that our products are available for purchase.
YOU ARE SKILLED
Experienced. You have a bachelor’s or master’s  degree in Business Administration, Economics, Fashion Management or an education in a similar area. You’ve already been working in Buying or Merchandising on an assistant level for 1-2 years, preferably in a fashion-related field.
Structured and communicative. You thrive in fast-paced environments, embrace collaboration and act proactively. You organize your workload efficiently, ensuring tasks are ready on time, are accurate and prioritized accordingly. Clear communication internally and externally is one of your biggest strengths.
Passionate. You have fun working with numbers and at the same time fashion and lifestyle are a great passion of yours. Moreover, you have a strong understanding for trends and products, especially at European-market level.
Systems and language proficiency. MS Office, especially Excel and formulas, is part of your daily routine and ideally you’ve got some experience with merchandise management systems. You will be working in an international team, so English is a must. German is usually a plus.
